श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इच्छाविषविकारस्य वियोगं योगनामकम् ।
शान्तये श्रृणु भूयोऽपि पूर्वमुक्तमपि स्फुटम् ॥ १ ॥

Sage Vasiṣṭha said: For the sake of peace (śānti), listen again, clearly, to this separation from the poison-like modifications of desire, which is known as (yoga), even though it has been previously explained.
