पृष्टश्च लङ्कागमनं राक्षसानां च तद्वधम् ।
तत् सर्वं च मया तत्र सीतार्थमिति जल्पितम् ॥११२॥

112. pṛṣṭaśca laṅkāgamanaṃ rākṣasānāṃ ca tadvadham ,
tat sarvaṃ ca mayā tatra sītārthamiti jalpitam.

112. (rāvaṇena) laṅkāgamanaṃ ca rākṣasānāṃ tat vadham ca (aham) pṛṣṭaḥ.
mayā tatra tat sarvaṃ ca sītārtham iti jalpitam.

112. And I was questioned about my arrival in Laṅkā and the slaying of the rākṣasas. All of that was then explained by me there as being 'for Sītā's sake'.
