वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-56, verse-77

श्रुत्वा तु गदितां वाचं राजर्षिगणपूजिताम् ।
प्रत्यभाषत मां देवी बाष्पैः पिहितलोचना ॥७७॥
77. śrutvā tu gaditāṃ vācaṃ rājarṣigaṇapūjitām ,
pratyabhāṣata māṃ devī bāṣpaiḥ pihitalocanā.

prati abhāṣata mām devī bāṣpaiḥ pihitalocanā
77. tu rājarṣigaṇapūjitām gaditām vācam śrutvā

77. However, having heard the spoken word, honored by groups of royal sages, the noble lady (devī) replied to me, her eyes veiled by tears.
