तृणवद्भाषितं तासां गणयामास जानकी ।
तर्जितं च तदा तासां सीतां प्राप्य निरर्थकम् ॥७१॥

71. tṛṇavadbhāṣitaṃ tāsāṃ gaṇayāmāsa jānakī ,
tarjitaṃ ca tadā tāsāṃ sītāṃ prāpya nirarthakam.

71. Janaki (Sita) regarded their words as insignificant as a blade of grass. Their threats, upon reaching Sita, thus became meaningless.
