Hearing that (news of Jāmbūmalī's death), Rāvaṇa, the lord of rākṣasas, then dispatched his exceedingly powerful minister's sons, who were well-equipped with infantry forces. (Hanumān, speaking of his own actions, declares:) "I shall send all of them to the abode of Yama (the god of death) with just my iron bar."
