वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-56, verse-75

तां चाहं तादृशीं दृष्ट्वा सीताया दारुणां दशाम् ।
चिन्तयामास विश्रान्तो न च मे निर्वृतं मनः ॥७५॥
75. tāṃ cāhaṃ tādṛśīṃ dṛṣṭvā sītāyā dāruṇāṃ daśām ,
cintayāmāsa viśrānto na ca me nirvṛtaṃ manaḥ.
75. tām ca aham tādṛśīm dṛṣṭvā sītāyā dāruṇām daśām
cintayāmāsa viśrāntaḥ na ca me nirvṛtam manaḥ
75. aham ca sītāyāḥ tādṛśīm dāruṇām daśām dṛṣṭvā
cintayāmāsa viśrāntaḥ ca me manaḥ na nirvṛtam
75. And having seen that dire condition of Sītā, I pondered. Though I was rested, my mind was not at peace.
