वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-35, verse-65

श्रुता हि दृष्टाश्च मया पराक्रमा महात्मनस्तस्य रणावमर्दिनः ।
न देवगन्धर्वभुजंगराक्षसा भवन्ति रामेण समा हि संयुगे ॥६५॥
65. śrutā hi dṛṣṭāśca mayā parākramā mahātmanastasya raṇāvamardinaḥ ,
na devagandharvabhujaṃgarākṣasā bhavanti rāmeṇa samā hi saṃyuge.
65. śrutāḥ hi dṛṣṭāḥ ca mayā parākramāḥ
mahātmanaḥ tasya raṇāvamardinaḥ
na devagandharvabhujagarākṣasāḥ
bhavanti rāmeṇa samāḥ hi saṃyuge
65. hi mayā tasya mahātmanaḥ raṇāvamardinaḥ
parākramāḥ śrutāḥ ca dṛṣṭāḥ
hi devagandharvabhujagarākṣasāḥ

65. Indeed, I have both heard and witnessed the valiant deeds of that great-souled (mahātman) hero, who crushes foes in battle. For surely, no gods, gandharvas, serpents, or demons can match Rāma in combat.
