वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-35, verse-4

विधिर्नूनमसंहार्यः प्राणिनां प्लवगोत्तम ।
सौमित्रिं मां च रामं च व्यसनैः पश्य मोहितान् ॥४॥
4. vidhirnūnamasaṃhāryaḥ prāṇināṃ plavagottama ,
saumitriṃ māṃ ca rāmaṃ ca vyasanaiḥ paśya mohitān.
4. vidhiḥ nūnam asaṃhāryaḥ prāṇinām plavaga-uttama
saumitrim mām ca rāmam ca vyasanaiḥ paśya mohitān
4. O best of monkeys, behold me, along with Saumitri (Lakshmana) and Rama, bewildered by these calamities. Surely, the cosmic order (vidhi) is irresistible for living beings.
