महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-50, verse-63

देवैरपि हि संयत्तैर्बिभ्रद्भिर्मांसशोणितम् ।
अशक्यः समरे जेतुं सर्वैरपि युयुत्सुभिः ॥६३॥
63. devairapi hi saṁyattairbibhradbhirmāṁsaśoṇitam ,
aśakyaḥ samare jetuṁ sarvairapi yuyutsubhiḥ.
63. devaiḥ api hi saṃyattaiḥ bibhradbhiḥ māṃsa-śoṇitam
aśakyaḥ samare jetum sarvaiḥ api yuyutsubhiḥ
63. hi saṃyattaiḥ māṃsa-śoṇitam bibhradbhiḥ sarvaiḥ
devaiḥ api yuyutsubhiḥ api samare jetum aśakyaḥ
63. Indeed, even by the well-prepared gods, though they bear physical bodies (māṃsa-śoṇitam), he is impossible to conquer in battle, even by all those who wish to fight.
