महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-50, verse-27

अहं त्वामनुजानामि जहि कर्णं धनंजय ।
मन्युं च मा कृथाः पार्थ यन्मयोक्तोऽसि दारुणम् ॥२७॥

27. ahaṁ tvāmanujānāmi jahi karṇaṁ dhanaṁjaya ,
manyuṁ ca mā kṛthāḥ pārtha yanmayokto'si dāruṇam.

27. aham tvām anujānāmi jahi karṇam dhanañjaya manyum
ca mā kṛthāḥ pārtha yat mayā uktaḥ asi dāruṇam

27. I permit you, O Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), to kill Karṇa. And do not harbor anger (manyu), O Pārtha (Arjuna), for the harsh words which you were spoken by me.
