महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-50, verse-17

तमद्य यदि वै वीर न हनिष्यसि सूतजम् ।
प्राणानेव परित्यक्ष्ये जीवितार्थो हि को मम ॥१७॥
17. tamadya yadi vai vīra na haniṣyasi sūtajam ,
prāṇāneva parityakṣye jīvitārtho hi ko mama.
