महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-50, verse-32

येन त्वं पीडितो बाणैर्दृढमायम्य कार्मुकम् ।
तस्याद्य कर्मणः कर्णः फलं प्राप्स्यति दारुणम् ॥३२॥
32. yena tvaṁ pīḍito bāṇairdṛḍhamāyamya kārmukam ,
tasyādya karmaṇaḥ karṇaḥ phalaṁ prāpsyati dāruṇam.
32. yena tvam pīḍitaḥ bāṇaiḥ dṛḍham āyamya kārmukam
tasya adya karmaṇaḥ karṇaḥ phalam prāpsyati dāruṇam
32. yena dṛḍham kārmukam āyamya tvam bāṇaiḥ pīḍitaḥ
tasya karmaṇaḥ adya karṇaḥ dāruṇam phalam prāpsyati
32. For that deed by which you were tormented by arrows, having firmly drawn his bow, Karna will today obtain a terrible consequence.
