त्वमित्युक्त्वैव राजानमेवं कश्मलमाविशः ।
हत्वा तु नृपतिं पार्थ अकरिष्यः किमुत्तरम् ।
एवं सुदुर्विदो धर्मो मन्दप्रज्ञैर्विशेषतः ॥३॥

evaṁ sudurvido dharmo mandaprajñairviśeṣataḥ.

Having thus said 'you' to the king, you (Arjuna) entered into such a state of despondency. But if you, Arjuna (Pārtha), were to kill the king, what would be the consequence? Indeed, the principle of natural law (dharma) is very difficult to know, especially for those of dull intellect.
