महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-31, verse-52

नागाश्वरथपत्त्यौघांस्तावकान्समभिघ्नतः ।
ध्वजाग्रं दृश्यते त्वस्य ज्याशब्दश्चापि श्रूयते ॥५२॥
52. nāgāśvarathapattyaughāṁstāvakānsamabhighnataḥ ,
dhvajāgraṁ dṛśyate tvasya jyāśabdaścāpi śrūyate.

dhvajāgram dṛśyate tu asya jyāśabdaḥ ca api śrūyate
52. asya tāvakān nāgāśvarathapattyaughān samabhighnataḥ dhvajāgram dṛśyate,
tu ca jyāśabdaḥ api śrūyate
52. As your multitudes of elephants, horses, chariots, and infantry are being decimated, his banner-top (dhvajāgra) becomes visible, and the sound of his bowstring (jyāśabda) is also heard.
