महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-31, verse-24

तेषां पदातिनागानां पादरक्षाः सहस्रशः ।
पट्टिशासिधराः शूरा बभूवुरनिवर्तिनः ॥२४॥
24. teṣāṁ padātināgānāṁ pādarakṣāḥ sahasraśaḥ ,
