महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-9, verse-62

पिबन्त्यो दक्षिणां यस्य गङ्गास्रोतः समापिबन् ।
तावतीर्गा ददौ वीर उशीनरसुतोऽध्वरे ॥६२॥
62. pibantyo dakṣiṇāṁ yasya gaṅgāsrotaḥ samāpiban ,
tāvatīrgā dadau vīra uśīnarasuto'dhvare.

62. During the Vedic ritual (yajña), the heroic son of Uśīnara (uśīnarasuta) gave away countless cows – those very cows that had completely drunk from the southern part of the Ganga's stream.
