महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-171, verse-50

स तं निर्भिद्य तेनास्तः सायकः सशरावरम् ।
विवेश वसुधां भित्त्वा श्वसन्बिलमिवोरगः ॥५०॥
50. sa taṁ nirbhidya tenāstaḥ sāyakaḥ saśarāvaram ,
viveśa vasudhāṁ bhittvā śvasanbilamivoragaḥ.
50. sa tam nirbhidya tena astaḥ sāyakaḥ saśarāvaram
viveśa vasudhām bhittvā śvasan bilam iva uragaḥ
50. tena astaḥ saḥ sāyakaḥ tam saśarāvaram nirbhidya
bhittvā vasudhām bilam iva śvasan uragaḥ viveśa
50. That arrow, shot by Arjuna, having pierced Dhrishtadyumna along with his quiver, entered the earth, splitting it, just as a hissing snake enters a hole.
