महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-54, verse-55

संशप्तानि च वृन्दानि क्षत्रियाणां परंतप ।
अर्जुनं वयमस्मान्वा धनंजय इति स्म ह ॥५५॥
55. saṁśaptāni ca vṛndāni kṣatriyāṇāṁ paraṁtapa ,
arjunaṁ vayamasmānvā dhanaṁjaya iti sma ha.
55. saṃśaptāni ca vṛndāni kṣatriyāṇām paraṃtapa
arjunam vayam asmān vā dhanañjaya iti sma ha
55. And, O tormentor of foes, there are also the battalions of kṣatriyas (warriors) who have sworn an oath (saying), 'Either we [will conquer] Arjuna, or (he will conquer) us, O Dhananjaya!'
