महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-54, verse-14

प्रणिपाते तु दोषोऽस्ति बन्धूनां शाश्वतीः समाः ।
पितरं त्वेव शोचामि प्रज्ञानेत्रं जनेश्वरम् ।
मत्कृते दुःखमापन्नं क्लेशं प्राप्तमनन्तकम् ॥१४॥
14. praṇipāte tu doṣo'sti bandhūnāṁ śāśvatīḥ samāḥ ,
pitaraṁ tveva śocāmi prajñānetraṁ janeśvaram ,
matkṛte duḥkhamāpannaṁ kleśaṁ prāptamanantakam.

14. Indeed, there is a fault in submission, a lasting misfortune for our relatives. However, I lament for my father, the king, whose eye is wisdom, because he has fallen into sorrow and obtained endless affliction on my account.
