महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-54, verse-51

भीष्मद्रोणकृपाणां च तुल्यः कर्णो मतो मम ।
अनुज्ञातश्च रामेण मत्समोऽसीति भारत ॥५१॥
51. bhīṣmadroṇakṛpāṇāṁ ca tulyaḥ karṇo mato mama ,
anujñātaśca rāmeṇa matsamo'sīti bhārata.
51. bhīṣmadroṇakṛpāṇām ca tulyaḥ karṇaḥ mataḥ mama
anujñātaḥ ca rāmeṇa matsamaḥ asi iti bhārata
51. And in my opinion, Karna is equal to Bhishma, Drona, and Kripa. O Bharata, he was also acknowledged by Rama (Parashurāma) with the words, 'You are equal to me.'
