महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-54, verse-49

अयोनिजं त्रयं ह्येतत्पिता माता च मातुलः ।
अश्वत्थाम्नो महाराज स च शूरः स्थितो मम ॥४९॥
49. ayonijaṁ trayaṁ hyetatpitā mātā ca mātulaḥ ,
aśvatthāmno mahārāja sa ca śūraḥ sthito mama.
49. ayonijam trayam hi etat pitā mātā ca mātulaḥ
aśvatthāmnaḥ mahārāja saḥ ca śūraḥ sthitaḥ mama
49. Indeed, this trio – father, mother, and maternal uncle – are not womb-born. And he, Aśvatthāman, O great king, that hero, stands by my side.
