स भीष्मः सुसमर्थोऽयमस्माभिः सहितो रणे ।
परान्विजेतुं तस्मात्ते व्येतु भीर्भरतर्षभ ।
इत्येषां निश्चयो ह्यासीत्तत्कालममितौजसाम् ॥२२॥

22. sa bhīṣmaḥ susamartho'yamasmābhiḥ sahito raṇe ,
parānvijetuṁ tasmātte vyetu bhīrbharatarṣabha ,
ityeṣāṁ niścayo hyāsīttatkālamamitaujasām.

22. sa bhīṣmaḥ susamarthaḥ ayam asmābhiḥ
sahitaḥ raṇe parān vijetum tasmāt te
vyetu bhīḥ bharatarṣabha iti eṣām
niścayaḥ hi āsīt tat kālam amitaujasām

22. That very capable Bhishma, accompanied by us in battle, can certainly conquer the enemies. Therefore, O best among the Bharatas, let your fear depart. Indeed, this was the firm determination of those immensely powerful ones at that time.
