अथ वा पुरुषैर्गूढैः प्रयोगोऽयं दुरात्मनः ।

Or perhaps this is a plot by that wicked person (Duryodhana), carried out by secret agents. Thinking thus, the mighty-armed Yudhiṣṭhira pondered the matter in many ways.
