महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-297, verse-22

यक्ष उवाच ।
इमे ते भ्रातरो राजन्वार्यमाणा मयासकृत् ।
बलात्तोयं जिहीर्षन्तस्ततो वै सूदिता मया ॥२२॥
22. yakṣa uvāca ,
ime te bhrātaro rājanvāryamāṇā mayāsakṛt ,
balāttoyaṁ jihīrṣantastato vai sūditā mayā.
22. yakṣaḥ uvāca ime te bhrātaraḥ rājan vāryamāṇāḥ mayā
asakṛt balāt toyam jihīrṣantaḥ tataḥ vai sūditāḥ mayā
22. The yakṣa (yakṣa) said: "O King (rājan), these brothers of yours, repeatedly prevented by me, were intent on seizing the water by force. Therefore, they were indeed slain by me."
