महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-297, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
स ददर्श हतान्भ्रातॄँल्लोकपालानिव च्युतान् ।
युगान्ते समनुप्राप्ते शक्रप्रतिमगौरवान् ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
sa dadarśa hatānbhrātṝँllokapālāniva cyutān ,
yugānte samanuprāpte śakrapratimagauravān.
1. vaiśampāyanaḥ uvāca saḥ dadarśa hatān bhrātṝn lokapālān
iva cyutān yugānte samanuprāpte śakrapratimagauravān
1. Vaiśampāyana said: He saw his slain brothers, who, mighty like Indra, resembled fallen guardians of the world (lokapāla) at the approach of the end of an age (yuga).
