महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-297, verse-16

न ते जानामि यत्कार्यं नाभिजानामि काङ्क्षितम् ।
कौतूहलं महज्जातं साध्वसं चागतं मम ॥१६॥
16. na te jānāmi yatkāryaṁ nābhijānāmi kāṅkṣitam ,
kautūhalaṁ mahajjātaṁ sādhvasaṁ cāgataṁ mama.
16. na te jānāmi yat kāryam na abhijānāmi kāṅkṣitam
kautūhalam mahat jātam sādhvasam ca āgatam mama
16. I do not know what your task is, nor do I understand what you desire. A great curiosity has arisen in me, and fear has also come upon me.
