महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-11, verse-57

प्रादाच्च द्रविणं प्रीत्या याजकानां नरेश्वरः ।
यथोक्तं तत्र तैस्तस्मिंस्ततः पञ्चगुणाधिकम् ॥५७॥
57. prādācca draviṇaṁ prītyā yājakānāṁ nareśvaraḥ ,
yathoktaṁ tatra taistasmiṁstataḥ pañcaguṇādhikam.
57. prādāt ca draviṇam prītyā yājakānām nareśvaraḥ
yathoktam tatra taiḥ tasmin tataḥ pañcaguṇādhikam
57. And the king (nareśvara), affectionately, gave wealth to the priests (yājaka), five times more than what was prescribed by them for that occasion.
