महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-11, verse-5

भगवन्द्रष्टुमिच्छामि पितामहसभामहम् ।
येन सा तपसा शक्या कर्मणा वापि गोपते ॥५॥
5. bhagavandraṣṭumicchāmi pitāmahasabhāmaham ,
yena sā tapasā śakyā karmaṇā vāpi gopate.

yena sā tapasā śakyā karmaṇā vā api gopate
5. O revered one, I wish to see the assembly of the Grandfather (Brahmā). O Protector, by what (means), whether by asceticism (tapas) or by action (karma), can it be seen (or achieved)?
