महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-85, verse-6

वेदाश्च सोपनिषदो विद्या सावित्र्यथापि च ।
भूतं भव्यं भविष्यच्च दधार भगवाञ्शिवः ।
जुह्वच्चात्मन्यथात्मानं स्वयमेव तदा प्रभो ॥६॥
6. vedāśca sopaniṣado vidyā sāvitryathāpi ca ,
bhūtaṁ bhavyaṁ bhaviṣyacca dadhāra bhagavāñśivaḥ ,
juhvaccātmanyathātmānaṁ svayameva tadā prabho.
6. vedāḥ ca sa-upaniṣadaḥ vidyā sāvitrī
atha api ca bhūtam bhavyam bhaviṣyat ca
dadhāra bhagavān śivaḥ juhvat ca ātmani
atha ātmānam svayam eva tadā prabho
6. And Lord (bhagavān) Śiva sustained the Vedas along with the Upaniṣads, all knowledge, and also the Sāvitrī mantra, encompassing the past, present, and future. Then, O Lord, he himself offered his own self (ātman) into himself.
