महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-85, verse-33

ईश्वरोऽङ्गिरसं चाग्नेरपत्यार्थेऽभ्यकल्पयत् ।
पितामहस्त्वपत्यं वै कविं जग्राह तत्त्ववित् ॥३३॥
33. īśvaro'ṅgirasaṁ cāgnerapatyārthe'bhyakalpayat ,
pitāmahastvapatyaṁ vai kaviṁ jagrāha tattvavit.
33. īśvaraḥ aṅgirasam ca agneḥ apatyārthe abhyakalpayat
pitāmahaḥ tu apatyam vai kavim jagrāha tattvavit
33. īśvaraḥ ca agneḥ apatyārthe aṅgirasam abhyakalpayat
tu pitāmahaḥ tattvavit vai kavim apatyam jagrāha
33. The powerful lord also appointed Aṅgiras for Agni as a son. And the grandfather, the knower of reality, indeed adopted Kavi as his son.
