महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-85, verse-20

एतस्मात्कारणादाहुरग्निं सर्वास्तु देवताः ।
ऋषयः श्रुतसंपन्ना वेदप्रामाण्यदर्शनात् ॥२०॥

ṛṣayaḥ śrutasaṁpannā vedaprāmāṇyadarśanāt.

20. etasmāt kāraṇāt āhuḥ agnim sarvāḥ tu devatāḥ
ṛṣayaḥ śrutasampannāḥ vedaprāmāṇyadarśanāt

20. For this reason, all the deities (devatā) indeed invoke Agni. The sages (ṛṣi), accomplished in sacred knowledge, understand this truth through their insight into the authoritative validity of the Vedas.
