महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-85, verse-26

त्रीणि पूर्वाण्यपत्यानि मम तानि न संशयः ।
इति जानीत खगमा मम यज्ञफलं हि तत् ॥२६॥
26. trīṇi pūrvāṇyapatyāni mama tāni na saṁśayaḥ ,
iti jānīta khagamā mama yajñaphalaṁ hi tat.

26. Those three former offspring are undoubtedly mine. Therefore, O birds (khagamā), know that this is indeed the fruit of my Vedic ritual.
