महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-69, verse-70

कृत्वा सर्वाणि कार्याणि सम्यक्संपाल्य मेदिनीम् ।
पालयित्वा तथा पौरान्परत्र सुखमेधते ॥७०॥
70. kṛtvā sarvāṇi kāryāṇi samyaksaṁpālya medinīm ,
pālayitvā tathā paurānparatra sukhamedhate.

70. Having accomplished all tasks, having thoroughly protected the earth, and likewise having protected the citizens, one attains happiness in the next world.
