यथा पुत्रास्तथा पौरा द्रष्टव्यास्ते न संशयः ।
भक्तिश्चैषां प्रकर्तव्या व्यवहारे प्रदर्शिते ॥२६॥

26. yathā putrāstathā paurā draṣṭavyāste na saṁśayaḥ ,
bhaktiścaiṣāṁ prakartavyā vyavahāre pradarśite.

26. Citizens should be regarded just as one's own sons; there is no doubt about this. And their loyalty (bhakti) should be cultivated when righteous conduct is displayed (by the king).
