दशधर्मगतेभ्यो यद्वसु बह्वल्पमेव च ।
तन्नाददीत सहसा पौराणां रक्षणाय वै ॥२५॥

25. daśadharmagatebhyo yadvasu bahvalpameva ca ,
tannādadīta sahasā paurāṇāṁ rakṣaṇāya vai.

tat na ādradīta sahasā paurāṇām rakṣaṇāya vai

25. paurāṇām rakṣaṇāya vai (rājā) daśadharmagatebhyaḥ yat vasu bahu alpam eva ca (syāt) tat sahasā na ādradīta.

25. Whatever wealth, be it much or little, a king should not seize it suddenly from those citizens who adhere to the ten principles of natural law (dharma), as his duty is to protect them.
