महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-69, verse-46

नक्तमेव च भक्तानि पाचयेत नराधिपः ।
न दिवाग्निर्ज्वलेद्गेहे वर्जयित्वाग्निहोत्रिकम् ॥४६॥
46. naktameva ca bhaktāni pācayeta narādhipaḥ ,
na divāgnirjvaledgehe varjayitvāgnihotrikam.

divā agniḥ jvalet gehe varjayitvā agnihotrikam

46. The king should only have meals cooked at night. Fire should not burn in the house during the day, except for the fire of the agnihotra (yajña) ritual.
