महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-69, verse-65

षाड्गुण्यमिति यत्प्रोक्तं तन्निबोध युधिष्ठिर ।
संधायासनमित्येव यात्रासंधानमेव च ॥६५॥
65. ṣāḍguṇyamiti yatproktaṁ tannibodha yudhiṣṭhira ,
saṁdhāyāsanamityeva yātrāsaṁdhānameva ca.
65. ṣāḍguṇyam iti yat proktam tat nibodha yudhiṣṭhira
saṃdhāya āsanam iti eva yātrā saṃdhānam eva ca

65. O Yudhishthira, now understand what has been declared as the six attributes (ṣāḍguṇyam). These are: concluding peace (saṃdhāya) and remaining inactive (āsanam), as well as marching forth (yātrā) and forming alliances (saṃdhānam).
