महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-258, verse-9

पितुराज्ञां कथं कुर्यां न हन्यां मातरं कथम् ।
कथं धर्मच्छले नास्मिन्निमज्जेयमसाधुवत् ॥९॥
9. piturājñāṁ kathaṁ kuryāṁ na hanyāṁ mātaraṁ katham ,
kathaṁ dharmacchale nāsminnimajjeyamasādhuvat.

katham dharmacchale na asmin nimajjeyam asādhuvat
