Upon awakening, everything is realized as one, purely consciousness (cinmātra), vast and unbounded like the Self (ātman). That very same [reality] then appears as thousands of conscious (cit) and inert (jaḍa) individual selves (ātman) through manifold perceptions (anekasaṃvittyā).
