ब्रह्मणो हृदि सर्गोऽयं हृदि ते स्वप्नपूर्यथा ।
कार्यकारणता तत्र तथास्तेऽभिहिता यथा ॥ २३ ॥

brahmaṇo hṛdi sargo'yaṃ hṛdi te svapnapūryathā ,
kāryakāraṇatā tatra tathāste'bhihitā yathā 23

23. ayam sargaḥ brahmaṇaḥ hṛdi (asti),

23. This creation (sarga) resides in the mind of Brahmā, just as a dream-city resides in your mind. In that creation, the principle of causality (kārya-kāraṇatā) is described as existing precisely in that manner.
