ज्ञानं यदेव तज्ज्ञेयं ज्ञेयस्यासंभवात्पृथक् ।
यथा ज्ञानमतो ज्ञेयं तनोत्यात्मानमात्मना ॥ ५५ ॥

Knowledge itself is the knowable, for there is no possibility of the knowable existing separately. Therefore, just as knowledge, the knowable manifests the self (ātman) through the self (ātman).
