पूर्वोऽथ वर्षसप्तत्या पाश्चात्येनैत्य मोक्षितः ।
विद्यया क्रकचेनेव छित्त्वा वृक्षत्वमक्षतः ॥ २ ॥

Then, after seventy years, the former one was liberated, unharmed (akṣataḥ), by the latter one who had arrived. This was achieved through knowledge (vidyā), just as one cuts down a tree (vṛkṣatva) with a saw.
