योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-48, verse-67

तामग्निसंततिं पीत्वा पूरयामास भूतलम् ।
जलश्रीर्जटितं देहं निद्रेव व्यक्तिमेयुषी ॥ ६७ ॥
tāmagnisaṃtatiṃ pītvā pūrayāmāsa bhūtalam ,
jalaśrīrjaṭitaṃ dehaṃ nidreva vyaktimeyuṣī 67
67. tām agni-saṃtatim pītvā pūrayāmāsa bhūtalam
jala-śrīḥ jaṭitam deham nidrā iva vyaktim eyuṣī
67. jala-śrīḥ tām agni-saṃtatim pītvā bhūtalam
pūrayāmāsa nidrā iva vyaktim eyuṣī jaṭitam deham
67. Having swallowed that mass of fire, the splendor of water then filled the entire earth, just as sleep, having taken on a distinct form, permeates an embodied being.
