योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-48, verse-10

धारा वर्षमुच इव सीकरा इव निर्झरात् ।
तत्पुराग्निमहादाहात्स्फुलिङ्गा इव भासुराः ॥ १० ॥
dhārā varṣamuca iva sīkarā iva nirjharāt ,
tatpurāgnimahādāhātsphuliṅgā iva bhāsurāḥ 10
10. dhārāḥ varṣamucaḥ iva sīkarāḥ iva nirjharāt
tatpurāgnimahādāhāt sphuliṅgāḥ iva bhāsurāḥ
10. (tāḥ) varṣamucaḥ dhārāḥ iva,
nirjharāt sīkarāḥ iva,
tatpurāgnimahādāhāt bhāsurāḥ sphuliṅgāḥ iva (abhavan).
10. Like streams pouring from a rain-cloud, and like spray from a waterfall; so too, like brilliant sparks from the city's great destructive fire.
