सर्पैर्विलसिता भूमिर्मृणालैः सरसी यथा ।
संपन्ना गिरयः सर्वे कृष्णपन्नगकम्बलाः ॥ २९ ॥

29. Just as a pond is embellished by lotus stems, the earth was covered by snakes. All the mountains were blanketed with black snakes.

29. האדמה המתה נחשים כמו אגם המלא בגבעולי לוטוס, וכל ההרים עטו מעטה שנראה כשמיכה של נחשים שחורים.
