योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-114, verse-54

शून्ये एव शरीरेऽस्मिन्विलोलो जलवातवत् ।
अनन्यया वासनया त्वहंभावाहिरर्पितः ॥ ५४ ॥
śūnye eva śarīre'sminvilolo jalavātavat ,
ananyayā vāsanayā tvahaṃbhāvāhirarpitaḥ 54

ananyayā vāsanayā tu ahaṃbhāvaḥ ahiḥ arpitaḥ
54. asmin śūnye eva śarīre,
jalavātavat vilolaḥ,

54. In this empty body, unstable like water and wind, the serpent of ego-sense (ahaṃbhāva) is indeed implanted by an exclusive latent impression (vāsanā).
