aham kṛśaḥ ati-duḥkhī baddhaḥ hasta-pāda-ādi-mān aham (asmi) iti bhāva-anurūpeṇa vyavahāreṇa badhyate.
29.
"I am lean, extremely miserable, and bound; I possess hands, feet, and the like." Thinking thus, one becomes bound by behavior that conforms to such a state of mind.
