वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-35, verse-31

यमेव दिवसं ह्येष ग्रहीतुं भास्करं प्लुतः ।
तमेव दिवसं राहुर्जिघृक्षति दिवाकरम् ॥३१॥
31. yameva divasaṃ hyeṣa grahītuṃ bhāskaraṃ plutaḥ ,
tameva divasaṃ rāhurjighṛkṣati divākaram.
31. yam eva divasam hi eṣaḥ grahītum bhāskaram plutaḥ
tam eva divasam rāhuḥ jighṛkṣati divākaram
31. eṣaḥ yam eva divasam bhāskaram grahītum plutaḥ
hi rāhuḥ tam eva divasam divākaram jighṛkṣati
31. On the very day that this one (Hanuman) sprang to seize the sun, on that very day Rāhu also desired to seize the sun.
