वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-35, verse-30

शिशुरेष त्वदोषज्ञ इति मत्वा दिवाकरः ।
कार्यं चात्र समायत्तमित्येवं न ददाह सः ॥३०॥
30. śiśureṣa tvadoṣajña iti matvā divākaraḥ ,
kāryaṃ cātra samāyattamityevaṃ na dadāha saḥ.
30. śiśuḥ eṣaḥ tu adoṣajñaḥ iti matvā divākaraḥ
kāryam ca atra samāyattam iti evam na dadāha saḥ
30. divākaraḥ eṣaḥ śiśuḥ tu adoṣajñaḥ atra ca
kāryam samāyattam iti evam matvā saḥ na dadāha
30. Thinking 'this child is indeed innocent, and a purpose is connected with him here', the sun did not burn him.
