मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-63, verse-62

दत्तान्तु तां तदा कन्यामभिशान्त्य च भामिनीम् ।
जगाम दिव्यया गत्यागन्धर्वः स्वपुरन्ततः ॥६२॥
62. dattāntu tāṃ tadā kanyāmabhiśāntya ca bhāminīm .
jagāma divyayā gatyāgandharvaḥ svapurantataḥ.
62. dattām tu tām tadā kanyām abhiśāntya ca bhāminīm
| jagāma divyayā gatyā gandharvaḥ sva puram tataḥ
62. But then, having given that maiden and having pacified the angry woman, the Gandharva departed to his own city by a divine path.
